My passion for Ayurveda runs deeper than skin

Why Ayurveda?

My passion for Ayurveda runs deeper than skin, it’s a way of seeing the world, a philosophy that has profoundly changed how I approach beauty, healing, and self-care. Long before I ever stepped into a treatment room, I was a seeker curious about the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. Ayurveda gave me a language for that connection.

As an esthetician, I had always felt there was something missing in conventional skincare. It felt surface-level. But when I discovered Ayurveda, it was like being handed the missing puzzle piece. Suddenly, beauty wasn’t just about products or technique, it was about balance, rhythm, nourishment, and deeply knowing each client’s unique constitution.

That’s when everything shifted.

A Path Rooted in Study, Practice & Teaching

Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in Ayurvedic study earning my Ayurvedic Wellness Coach certification, attending countless trainings in Ayurvedic facial therapies, and studying with teachers who blend classical wisdom with modern applications. I’ve learned how to read the signs of imbalance in the skin and body, how to craft treatments from scratch using herbs, oils, and ritual, and how to work with clients in a way that feels both sacred and science-based.

But it’s not just about what I’ve learned, it’s how I’ve shared it.

Since 2019, I’ve been a full-time instructor at The Euro Institute of Skincare, where I’ve had the joy of teaching hundreds of future estheticians. Bringing Ayurvedic wisdom into the classroom has been one of my greatest honors. I love showing students that there’s another way to care for the skin, one that’s grounded in intuition, wholeness, and ancient truth.

What Lights Me Up

What lights me up most is helping others see the skin not as a problem to fix, but as a messenger, a mirror, a sacred organ that reflects our internal world. Ayurveda taught me that our skin speaks the language of our digestion, our emotions, our routines, and our environment.

My work now is to help others listen to that language, to treat their skin with compassion, to understand the power of herbs and oils, and to come back into relationship with their natural rhythms.

Through my practice, Holistic Beauty by Kayla, and my course Ayurveda for Estheticians, I blend my passion for teaching and healing to create experiences that feel both educational and deeply nurturing.

Whether I’m formulating a mask, teaching a marma point sequence, or simply holding space in a facial room, I come back to the same guiding truth:

Healing begins when we remember we are nature.

And that is the heart of Ayurveda.
