Kayla
I’ve spent years studying the ancient science of Ayurveda and integrating it into holistic esthetics with a deep respect for the connection between body, mind, and spirit.
I have extensive experience in Ayurvedic facials, using intentional touch, organic oils, and healing herbs to calm the nervous system and support your body’s natural rhythms. I believe our hands hold powerful energy and when used with care and presence, they can help unlock deep healing.
What you’ll learn
-
Understanding skin in Ayurveda goes deeper than dry, oily, or combination. It’s about uncovering the elemental balance within each client. You'll learn how to identify Ayurvedic skin types by assessing the doshic constitution (Prakruti) and current imbalances (Vikruti).
-
The Ayurvedic perspective on skin sees it as a mirror of inner health, where balance of the doshas, strong digestion, and proper nourishment create true radiance.
-
Applying Ayurvedic knowledge in the treatment room means customizing facials by dosha—choosing the right herbs, oils, and massage techniques to balance the skin and support its natural healing.
